RubyKaigi 2022 is an international Ruby conference that will take place in Tsu, Mie, Japan from September 8th to September 10th 2022, and we're looking for speakers!
RubyKaigi is a tech conference about Ruby and open source. Your topic should be about or be related to the Ruby programming language.
Taking a look at "Past Kaigis" (2021-takeout, 2020-takeout, 2020 (cancelled), 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013) linked from https://rubykaigi.org/2019 should give you an idea of the taste of the Kaigi.
The time slot for your talk will be 30 minutes.
Your talk can be given in either English (recommended) or Japanese. All Japanese talks will be simultaneously interpreted to English.
Speakers can either attend the in person conference and speak at the venue, or speak remotely, or submit a pre-recorded video (please comment your preference with the proposal)
The CFP form will remain open until June 20th.
You need a GitHub and/or Twitter account to submit your proposal via this submission form.
We recommend you to submit your proposal early. The earlier you submit, the better the chance that your CFP will be reviewed and that you will get online feedback from the reviewers.
We require all selected talks to comply wholly with our Anti-Harassment Policy.
